Flowers on the Volcano
I hope you read about my vacation sailing from St. Lucia and St. Vincent in the Caribbean. These are volcanic islands with tall mountains rising directly from the sea. Green is the predominant color with black and white sand beaches. Banana is the common crop replacing the original sugar plantations. The large banana bunches are enclosed in plastic bags to ripen while still growing on the tree.
