About
Rick’s Value to Companies, Their Boards, and Their Leadership
When important decisions are on the table, Rick brings to the process—clarity of purpose, realistic options, meaningful context, risk assessment, a view from off the boat, access to a large network of resources, and a constructive decision process. And valuable added bandwidth with a CEO and board perspective.
To each company and its leaders, Rick brings his experience founding and operating a successful company and what he has seen and learned as a board member, advisor, and consultant. His work with large and small companies across a wide spectrum of business sectors prepares him to quickly understand the key issues facing company leaders. Rick will help clarify the issues that must addressed, the options available, and the implications of the decision to be made. If specialized expertise is needed, Rick has a large national network on which to draw.
Thought Leader
Rick’s thought leadership articles and blogs with a CEO and board point of view are published nationally and internationally. His book, Create the Future®, presents a structured methodology for defining the problem, clarifying success, developing realistic options, evaluating barriers to achieving success, and making decisions without a big consulting firm price tag.
Building on Rick’s expertise and first-hand observations of top executives in action—Create the Future guides leaders as they define the future for their organization. This leadership guidebook gives you the tools for imagining and choosing the future for your organization and yourself best matching your goals, risk tolerance, and values.
