White Heron
I usually see heron slowly walking along the shore or in marshes. They are carefully watching and probably listening for a crab or other crustacean. I walked onto a fishing pier on Sanibel Island, Florida. The pier had a wooden shelf and cutting board where the fisherman cleaned their fish.
This heron decided that fish scraps were easier to grab from the cutting board than trying to find a crab hiding in the water. The heron had found his favorite fishing spot.
