Jeff Sigel, Elena Putilina, and Eric Sigel host a podcast titled “Twinning Strategy.” The podcast was broadcast live last Friday. They asked me to join their conversation about why we often get tough decisions wrong. We discussed what leaders can do to improve their chances for success when faced with a great opportunity or an important threat and give themselves a better shot at reaching their goals.
Yes, they got me to talk about why I say that everything I know about leadership I learned on my sailboat.

War in Ukraine – What I Saw
CEOWORLD Magazine published my article, War in Ukraine – What I Saw, last week. The link to the full article is HERE. Please take a moment to learn what I saw and experienced, and my hope for an end to this terrible war. The American press does not convey an accurate picture of the magnitude of killing and suffering that Russia inflicts on the people of Ukraine every day.
I participated in a volunteer supply convoy taking non-military supplies from Warsaw, Poland, to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. In my article, I share what I witnessed and what I learned from talking with leaders in Ukraine. I hope you will come away with a more realistic understanding of what is happening in Ukraine and do what you can to pressure American and European leaders to support Ukraine and bring an end to this tragic war.
