Thank you for reading my newsletter. Thank you for considering my views on the world we live in and how you can be more successful in your leadership role.

This is Thanksgiving week. Yes, we live in a turbulent time. The world and our lives are far from perfect. But, we are blessed in many ways.

I am pausing this week to give thanks for the blessings in my life and the wonderful people who make my life worth living.

I am thanking my close friends and family who accept me for who I am.

I am thanking my work colleagues and collaborators who enable me to share my thinking with you.

I am thanking Andy, the bartender who knows my favorite cocktail, the launch drivers who get me off my sailboat CHARIAD whatever the weather, Chris, my barber who cuts the little hair I have so I am ready to go on the next podcast.

I am thanking Kim, Mitch, Glenda, and Tyler who enable me to speak with you and many others.

I am thanking the wonderful team members who sail with me on CHARIAD and enable me to go sailing.

I hope you will take a moment to think about the blessings in your life. You will find yourself more centered on who you are and what is important to you.

Thank you. Pass it on!

Fall Colors in New England

As an East Coast guy, I am struck by the red earth and red rocks of the Western US. Fall foliage colors in New England are so vivid that you must see it to believe it.

You cannot get a hotel room in the fall because everyone wants to go to Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine to witness the vibrant fall colors.

Rather than give you a Vermont landscape vista looking over rolling hills covered with red and yellow, I am giving you up close drama of the foliage around Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts.
